Wesley Advances to Semifinals with OT Win

Sophomore forward Sheree Pleasanton found the back of the cage just three minutes into the first overtime period to help Wesley College advance to the semifinals as the Wolverines notched a 3-2 overtime victory over St. Mary’s College of Maryland in the first round of the 2009 Capital Athletic Conference Field Hockey Tournament.

Defending CAC Champions Fall at Mary Washington

St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the defending Capital Athletic Conference women’s soccer champion, was eliminated from the 2009 CAC playoffs on a rainy Sunday afternoon by fourth-seeded University of Mary Washington, 2-1 in overtime.
