Seahawks Earn Second Draw of Week
Reality kicked in for the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team on August 12 no, they did not lose, but the typical English weather returned. Getting up for their match against Heywood St. James, the Seahawks discovered that it was in the high 50s and raining. The excitement of the Oldham vs. Swansea match that they attended the day before was all slightly dampened by the bad weather. But they had to carry on and that they did.

SMCM, Scottish Squad Battle to 3-3 Draw
So far on their travels, the St. Marys College of Maryland mens soccer team could not have asked for anything better. Fantastic weather, good food, taking in Manchester City vs. Valencia, and going to Manchester United's Old Trafford for a tour. However, the team's arrival into a cold, damp Glasgow threatened the positive atmosphere a bit. Fortunately, a few hours later, the clouds burned off and order was restored.

St. Mary's Picks Up First Win of England Training Trip
On a pleasant day in Hartwick, a suburb of Manchester, the St. Marys College of Maryland men's soccer team kicked off their 2007 preseason with a match against Curson Ashton on August 5. The match would serve as a barometer for the coaches and players to see where they needed to pick up following last season. On a synthetic turf field, the two teams played three thirty-minute periods to give all the players an opportunity to get a good run in.
