Arlington, Va. - Freshman Billy DeBoissiere (Columbia, Md./Atholton) captured three gold medals in leading the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swim team to a 110-89 win over Marymount (Va.) University in the Seahawks' Capital Athletic Conference opener.

With today's win, St. Mary's (2-0, 1-0 CAC) snaps its seven-meet losing skid against the Saints (0-2, 0-2 CAC).  The Seahawks' last triumph was a 90.5-66.5 win during the 2001-02 season.

DeBoissiere shaved off two-hundredths of a second off his 200 free time from yesterday (1:52.11) as he went 1:52.09 today to win the event.  He also touched the wall first in the 500 free in 5:28.54.

Yesterday, DeBoissiere led a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 breast but today, it was the 200 breast as he finished in 2:17.79 followed by junior Aaron Page (Keene, N.H./Keene) in second at 2:30.94 and junior captain Nico Pinto (Lima, Peru) in third at 2:35.06.

The foursome of freshman Jesse Stottlemyer (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg), Page, sophomore Joe Kelly (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron), and junior captain Jackson Webb (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) captured the 400 medley relay in 3:56.12.

Stottlemyer finished first in the 200 back in 2:06.92 while Page claimed top honors in the 200 IM in 2:12.55.

Webb notched his second consecutive 50 free triumph, knocking off .16 from yesterday's time (23.30) as he won today's event in 23.14.  Webb also picked up a second-place finish in the 200 fly in 2:10.86.

Pinto was second in the 200 back in 2:10.73 while the quartet of sophomore Ron Michael (Sykesville, Md./McDonogh), freshman Logan Riley (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck), freshman Dirk Rousseau (Washington, D.C./St. John's College) and junior Kalvin Day (Hagerstown, Md./N. Hagerstown) took second in the 400 free relay in 3:50.23.

The Seahawks will be back in action next Saturday, November 7 as St. Mary's entertains Goucher College and Gallaudet University in a double dual meet for its home-opener at 1:00 pm.
