Jason Wynn returns for his second season as an assistant on the Seahawk tennis coaching staff in 2009-10.
Wynn is a local product having graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1998, where lettered for three years on the Raider cross country team and two years on the LHS baseball squad. He also served as a cross country team captain as a senior.
After Leonardtown, Wynn attended Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. He played three years of varsity tennis and received the Quakers' Best Doubles Player Award as a senior. In his final season at Guilford, Wynn was the No. 3 singles player and on the No. 1 doubles team as a team captain. He finished fifth at the 2002 ODAC Singles Tournament.
A 2002 graduate of Guilford with a bachelor's degree in physics, Wynn is back in his hometown as he currently resides in California. Before hitting the courts for practice, he works as an operations research analyst at NAVAIR. Wynn is also a freelance web designer.
