Dan Poe will joining the Seahawk women's soccer coaching staff for his first year in 2009 following a solid career at Clemson University in South Carolina.
Poe was a midfielder for the Tigers, solidifying a starting role as a senior. He notched seven goals, including five game-winners, and four assists during his four-year career. Poe earned ACC Player of the Week honors as a junior after scoring the game-winner in Clemson's 1-0 victory over fifth-ranked North Carolina. He was named to the ACC Honor Roll as a freshman.
During the summer of 2006, Poe played for the Richmond Kickers of the Premier Development League.
A St. Mary's County native, he graduated from Leonardtown HS.
Poe earned his bachelor's in management from Clemson in 2008.
