St. Mary's Men's Rowing Concludes Fall Season in Virginia

Fairfax Station, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's rowing team posted a 10th-place finish in the collegiate frosh/novice 4+ as St. Mary's competed in its final race of the season at the Head of the Occoquan Regatta on Saturday in windy fall conditions. All boats showed improvement from last week's racing.

How It Happened

  • The frosh/novice 4+ finished in 10th place in the field of 13 with a time of 22:58.3, behind La Salle University, who won in 17:42.76.
  • The varsity 8+ finished 20th of 22, with a time of 17:47.9. Georgetown University won the race in 14:38.7.
