SALISBURY, Md. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team (1-0) opened up their 2019 campaign on Friday (Aug. 30) afternoon against Gallaudet (0-1) in the Elmer Lord Tournament. The Seahawks used four second half goals to push themselves to the dominant victory.

The Seahawks wasted little time to get on the board as Josh McRobie fired a shot into the back of the net just 28 seconds into the game. St. Mary's College continued to push the pace on the offensive end and outshot Gallaudet 11-1 in the first half. The Bison managed to keep the game close due to six saves in the opening half.

The offensive onslaught started in the second half with another goal from McRobie in the 48th minute of action. The Seahawks continued to roll with three-straight goals to capture a commanding 5-0 lead. Roshawn Panton, Andrew Kalinoski, and Khalid Balogun all ripped shots into the back of the net for goals during the run.

The Bison continued to fight throughout the game and notched their lone goal of the afternoon in the 85th minute of play.

McRobie led the Seahawks with five points on the afternoon off of two goals and one assist. Balogun and Panton followed with three points each.

In goal, Patrick Paolini earned the win and held the Bison scoreless through 75 minutes. Liam Delone-Bellsey came in for the final 15 minutes and allowed one goal.

St. Mary's College dominated all facets of the game, besting Gallaudet in shots (26-2) and corner kicks (12-2).
