Grand Lake, Colo. – Senior captain Christy Bishop (Glenwood, Md./Glenelg) was one 132 senior student-athletes honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Thursday with selection to one of the 2015 North-South rosters.

The 2015 North-South games will take place at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 6th. The Division III North-South game will be at 2:00 p.m. following the Division I contest at 11:30 a.m. and the Division II matchup at 12:45 p.m.

As a member of the South team, Bishop will be coached by Jackie Dando of Lebanon Valley College and will be teammates of fellow Capital Athletic Conference players, Kate Haker and Hayden Hutzell of Salisbury University as well as Karlie Dougherty of York College of Pennsylvania.

This will be Bishop's second senior all-star game as she was picked to play in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior Game on November 22nd as a goalkeeper.

The 5-10 attacker concluded her four-year lacrosse career as a first-time IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region selection as she earned a spot on the second team this season. Bishop also collected a pair of second team All-Capital Athletic Conference honors during her last two seasons with the Seahawks.

Bishop was third on the team in goals with 31 and fourth with 35 points while adding 16 ground balls, eight draw controls, and five caused turnovers. She collected CAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on March 3rd after career-bests of five goals and six points in a road win over No. 17 Washington College.

Bishop achieved a milestone this season as she recorded her 100th career point on April 4th following a four-goal performance against Wesley College. She finished her career with 96 goals and nine assists for 105 career points while adding 40 ground balls, 16 draw controls, and 14 caused turnovers in 46 games as a full-time starter her last two seasons.

St. Mary's posted a 13-5 overall record in 2015 and earned the third seed in this year's CAC Tournament, making its 16th trip to the CAC Tournament Semifinals and the second under fifth-year Head Coach Lisa Valentine. The Seahawks also enjoyed their first 10-win campaign since 2011.
