Bartholomew Named CAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - St. Mary's College of Maryland junior midfielder Kate Bartholomew was named the Capital Athletic Conference women's lacrosse offensive player of the week, the league announced today. This is Bartholomew's first player of the week honor this season.

Bartholomew recorded a team-high 10 points as the No. 25 Seahawks finished the week 2-0 with victories over Randolph-Macon (20-9) and Roanoke (16-11). Bartholomew tallied eight goals and two assists, while collecting 10 draw controls and three ground balls.

Bartholomew, a native of Galena, Maryland, is currently fourth in the conference in goals with 31, third in points with 43, and third in draw controls with 43.

The Seahawks will be back in action on Wednesday (Mar. 27) when they travel to Washington College to take on the Shorewomen at 4:00 p.m.
