ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swimming team (1-1) hosted the visiting Randolph-Macon College Yellow Jackets on Friday (Nov. 1) evening in non-conference action. The Seahawks dropped the meet 115-89 to the Yellow Jackets.

How It Happened
St. Mary's College controlled the third event of the meet with the top-two finishers in the 1,000 Yard Freestyle. Paige Adelsberger won the event with a time of 11:42.23 and Elizabeth Johnson followed in second place with a time of 11:55.95, respectively. Next, Brenna Litynski tallied a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle by recording a time of 2:01.15.
The Seahawks brought their momentum into event seven as Carolyn Sutton won the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 25.75. B. Litynski won her second event of the evening when she recorded a time of 55.27 in the 100 Yard Freestyle. Adelsberger followed with her second win of the evening, capturing a first-place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:34.68. The Seahawks concluded the meet on a high-note with a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The team of B. Litynski, Christina Trnkus, Leila McCloskey, and Sutton finished with a time of 1:43.57.
