HARRISONBURG, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's cross country team continued their 2019 season with a second place finish at the Eastern Mennonite University On the Farm XC Invitational.

Junior Kara Taylor ran a 20:13.2 which put her in first overall and three seconds ahead of Eastern Mennonite's Abigail Shelly.

Senior Marie Lewis just missed out on a top five finish as she came in sixth overall with a time of 22:13.0.

Grace Dillingham was right behind Lewis in seventh place overall by crossing the finish line at 22:40.4

Melody Raymond was the fourth Seahawk to cross the finish line as she ran a 24:15.3 for tenth overall.

The fifth Seahawk to finish was Amy Forsbacka as she ran a 25:19.9 for 15th overall.

Taylor would take home her first overall top finish of the year as she ran a meet best 20:13.2.

Eastern Mennonite would win the meet as they placed runners in the two through five spot.
